This name also signifies the special connection between Omega and the moon. Moonshine 18K gold is composed of a fusion of several precious metals, including gold, silver, copper, and palladium. Its unique composition gives Moonshine 18K gold a softer and more enduring color tone compared to traditional yellow 18K gold, making it less prone to fading.

The subdued and enduring green dial showcases the elegance and depth rarely seen in a full-gold watch. The 3 o’clock position corresponds to the 30-minute chronograph sub-dial, the 6 o’clock position corresponds to the 12-hour chronograph sub-dial, and the 9 o’clock position corresponds to the small seconds sub-dial. The polished Moonshine 18K gold case back adopts a double bevel design and is engraved with the words “FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON” in black.
